Our cellulosic fuel properties are identical to petroleum fuels. Cellulosic fuels are cleaner burning, renewable alternatives that can be used to replace its petroleum counterpart in numerous on-and-off road applications. The use of cellulosic fuels has been shown to dramatically reduce lifecycle carbon emissions as well as other toxic air pollutants. PEG SC cellulosic fuels will be domestically produced, renewable fuels that can be manufactured from a range of waste feedstocks.​

The World Health Organization defines access to safe drinking water as essential to health. Water is a basic human right and component of effective policy for health protection. PEG SC offers potable water that is pure enough to drink and use in food preparation. Our water follows the drinking water standards set by the World Health Organization and by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations.​

The emergence of green power markets has created consumer-driven demand for renewables while volatile energy markets and burgeoning environmental regulations have compelled utilities to diversity their energy portfolios. PEG SC LLC will export baseload renewable excess green power to the grid. ​

Petrochemicals are incredibly versatile and incorporated into a large range of products. At PEG SC, we have the pathways defined to replace all crude oil based petrochemical products with renewable substitutes of olefins and aromatics. We offer cellulosic petrochemical products for a large number of industries like construction, textiles, electronics, tires, shows, food packaging, food, medicine, engine coolants, and automotive products.​

PEG SC takes waste feedstocks throughout the year with no interference to food production use. PEG SC has the ability to convey any carbonaceous feedstock into an clean energy product. Currently, we foster a sustainable biomass supply to feed our plant.

In 2007, the Renewable Fuel Standard 2 (RFS2) was signed into law to mandate that a certain volume of transportation fuels be derived from renewable sources. In present form, RFS2 will require the use of 36,000M gallons of advanced renewable fuel by 2022. This requires significant expansion of cellulosic ethanol, unleaded gasoline, diesel and other renewable fuels. Through commissioning, we will become the leading producer of drop-in, cellulosic fuels. PEG SC offers a large supply of RINs, RECs, and Carbon Credits (CCs).
